Gold saw slight gains in Asia and waffled near unchanged in London before it fell $13.21 to as low as $1608.99 by late morning in New York, but in then bounced back higher in late trade and ended with a loss of just 0.11% Silver slipped to as low as $27.99 and ended with a loss of 0.74%.

June 1: Gold Gains Over 3% on the Week

Gold fell over 1% to as low as $1544.95 by a little after 8AM EST, but it then soared higher following this morning economic data and ended near its early afternoon high of $1629.64 with a gain of 3.85%. Silver surged to as high as $28.701 and ended with a gain of 2.56%.

May 31: Gold and Silver End Slightly Lower

Gold jumped to $1573.17 at about 9:45AM EST before it plummeted back to $1552.29 in the next half hour of trade and then bounced back higher midday, but it still ended with a loss of 0.17%. Silver climbed to $28.213 in London and then fell back to $27.54 in midmorning New York trade before it the bounced back higher midday, but it still ended with a loss of 0.68%.

May 30: Gold and Silver End Slightly Higher

Gold dropped almost 1% in Asia before it climbed back to nearly unchanged at $1556.38 by a little before 8AM EST and end then fell all of the way back to $1531.92 at about 9:45 AM EST, but it then climbed to a new session high of $1569.42 in early afternoon trade and ended with a gain of 0.38%. Silver slipped to as low as $27.392 before it climbed back to as high as $28.17 and ended with a gain of 0.18%.

May 29: Gold and Silver Fall About 1% and 2%

Gold climbed almost $10 to $1582.65 by a little after 9AM EST, but it then fell to as low as $1548.10 in afternoon New York trade and ended with a loss of 0.89%. Silver slipped to as low as $27.75 and ended with a loss of 2.04%.

Gold saw slight losses in Asia, but it then chopped its way back higher in London and New York and ended with a gain of 0.85%. Silver surged to as high as $28.593 and ended with a gain of 0.67%.

May 24: Gold and Silver End Mixed

Gold fell $8.87 to $1552.33 at about 4AM EST before it rebounded to $1577.70 at about 9AM EST, but it then fell to as low as $1551.69 in afternoon New York trade and ended with loss of 0.11%. Silver slipped to as low as $27.624 before it bounced back to $28.533 and then also fell back off, but it still ended with a gain of 1.58%.

Gold reversed early losses in Asia and bumped back up to $1564.42 in early New York trade before it fell all the way back to $1533.50 by a little after noon EST, but it then stormed back higher in late trade and ended with a loss of just 0.36%. Silver slumped to as low as $27.122 before it also rallied back higher and ended with a loss of 1.03%.

May 22: Gold and Silver End Over 1% Lower

Gold dropped $19.82 to $1573.18 by about 5AM EST before it climbed back above $1590 by late morning in New York, but it then fell back off into the close and ended with a loss of 1.64%. Silver slipped to $28.015 before it surged to as high as $28.804, but it also fell back off in late trade and ended with a loss of 1.26%.

Gold fell $6.40 to $1585.00 at about 9:30AM EST, but it then chopped back higher midday and ended with a gain of 0.16%. Silver slipped to as low as $28.076 before it also bounced back higher, but it still ended with a loss of 0.56%.
